How to build HEALTH GUARDIAN PRACTICES into your Pathology Prevention plans.

Every time you visit this site, I want you to congratulate yourself, because you are taking your health into your own hands. You are your own Health Guardian. You can look at it as a spectrum of responsibility, on one side you own all the responsibility for your health- there is no one to turn to. At the other end of the spectrum, you have no responsibility for your health- you turn to your parents, a doctor, hospital, and government agencies to maintain your health. Of course, most of us are somewhere in the middle, doing what we can, and relying on other health professionals when needed.

As your own Health Guardian, you define how much responsibility you are willing and able to accept for your wellness. You define your role and responsibility for your own health. One of the first things you will want to do is establish what responsibility you will accept, and what you expect others to do. In many ways, this site is like your medical residency. It will teach ‘Dr. You’ the Health Guardian, what you need to know and how to take better care of yourself – and what could be more important than that? Congratulations from all of us at Pathology Prevention.
