PATHOLOGY PREVENTION With CAREGIVING

The steps of EBP, which the Health Guardian masters, centers around cultivating a spirit of inquiry. They must ask compelling and provoking clinical questions. The objective is the finding and identification of relevant evidence used to answer these clinical questions. The Health Guardian must critically appraise the gathered evidence, become an expert in the art of moving evidence to a sustainable effort of change. Many times, success revolves around the ability to create and sustain a culture and environment for long-term evidence-based care giving.

In providing caregiving services, it is necessary to describe the nature of services provided to patients, as well as to identify who are the care providers. The domain of caregiving includes the Health Guardian, primary care physician, and other non-physician providers when called upon. However, central to the concept of care giving is the patient.
