How to include a SPIRITUAL HEALTH PRACTICE in your Pathology Prevention plans.
Spiritual health is essential in holistic health and wellness. Spiritual health can be defined as our integration with the greater whole of life and is measured by the degree that we honor our interconnectedness with all things. It includes a purposeful life, transcendence and actualization of different dimensions and capacities of human beings. Spiritual health creates a balance between physical, psychological and social aspects of human life.
Spirit is what cannot be defined as a component of the body, or as a component of the mind. Body, mind, and spirit all have an effect on one another. By improving your spiritual wellness, you contribute to the healing process. Spirituality may not be able to cure you directly, but it can help to cope with the pain and difficulties that accompany illness, reduce stress, and indirectly lead to wellness.
