How to include a RECIPE
MANAGEMENT PRACTICE
in your Pathology Prevention plans.

Recipes are truly the ‘enabler’ of nutrition. It is here that food stuff is mixed into delightful menu items. How these items are prepared can be just as important as the food used. Recipes also provide the structure needed for good nutrient and health management.

The recipe can be analyzed on a nutrient bases contributing to the use of food as a medicine. The Health Guardian can then select what is eaten based on the available carbohydrates, proteins, fats, minerals, and vitamins. Together, the ingredients and preparation methods can then be considered as food selections are made and lifestyles are changed. This supports a more holistic approach to pathology prevention and overall wellness.
