Respiratory System (1)

We are, not only what we eat, but what we breathe. Any issues with breathing, will not only affect other organs and systems, but may also cause disease in these. However, as the body is a whole, the reverse is also true. When the lungs need attention, we must also look at the circulatory system. We must also consider the condition of the digestive system, especially the organs of elimination, as the lungs share the job of eliminating waste with the bowels, kidneys and skin. If a problem develops in any of these systems, the body will compensate by increasing the load on the other systems. Many pathological tissue changes can be prevented if the environment milieu of the cells is constantly rich in oxygen. The amount of oxygen supplied to the tissue by circulation is largely controlled by respiration.
