How to include a HYGIENE MANAGEMENT PRACTICE in your Pathology Prevention plans.
Pathology prevention is the burden of every Health Guardian. However, the Health Guardian must look at hygiene “holistically” from the point of view of the individual and family at home and in their everyday lives. This perspective must include the preventative actions they need to undertake such as, food and water hygiene, handwashing, using the toilet, coughing and sneezing, kitchen cleanliness, care of pets, and safe disposal of waste in order to protect from infectious disease.
Hygiene management also includes caring for family members who are infected, or who are at greater risk of infection, (e.g patients discharged from hospital or undergoing outpatient treatment, babies, pregnant moms etc.)
