How to include a CARDIOVASCULAR SYSTEM PRACTICE in your Pathology Prevention plans.
A holistic systems approach to health care requires that the Health Guardian has an understanding of each of the organ systems. The cardiovascular system is sometimes called the blood-vascular or circulatory system, that permits blood to circulate and transport nutrients (such as amino acids and electrolytes), oxygen, carbon dioxide, hormones, and blood cells to and from the cells in the body to provide nourishment and help in fighting diseases, stabilize temperature and pH, and maintain homeostasis on the continuous and controlled movement of blood through the thousands of miles of capillaries that permeate every tissue and reach every cell in the body. It consists of the heart and a closed system of vessels called arteries, veins, and capillaries.
The Health Guardian must have a well-rounded health program for strengthening the cardiovascular system. Herbal infusions offer tangible, physical nourishment and healing for hearts troubled by the ills of modern society. Some recommendations for Good Heart Heath are; Eat foods that are low in cholesterol and saturated fats, Consume adequate amounts of fiber, Eat whole grains, Eat more fruits & vegetables, Minimize salt intake, Avoid stimulants, drink little or no alcohol, Don’t smoke tobacco, Drink at least 2 pints of water per day, Exercise at least 30 minutes a day 3 times a week, Incorporate a relaxation daily program, Monitor and maintain a health blood pressure, and Relax-watch the grass grow.
